If you have ever been through a home renovation or new build, you know the reality: construction dust does not stay in the work area. It migrates into every room, settles into every crevice, and coats surfaces you did not even know existed. Drywall dust, sawdust, concrete residue, paint overspray, and adhesive remnants require specialized cleaning that goes well beyond what a regular house cleaning can address.

With over 30 years in the cleaning industry, Larry Deane has developed relationships with general contractors, remodelers, and builders across the Sacramento area. Our post-construction cleaning process is refined from years of experience with projects ranging from single-bathroom remodels to full custom home builds in Rancho Cordova, Folsom, and throughout the Sacramento Valley.

Our Post-Construction Cleaning Process

• Rough clean — Removal of large debris, sweep-out of construction materials, and initial wipe-down of surfaces. This stage happens while finishing trades may still be completing punch-list work.
• Detail clean — Thorough dusting of all surfaces from ceiling to floor. HVAC vents and returns cleaned to prevent dust from recirculating. All hard surfaces wiped, and construction film or adhesive removed from windows, countertops, and fixtures.
• Final clean — The polish pass. Floors cleaned to finished standard, fixtures buffed, appliances detailed inside and out, and every surface inspected for remaining dust or debris. This is the cleaning that makes the space ready for living.

What We Address

• Drywall and concrete dust — Fine particle dust that standard vacuums miss. We use HEPA-filtered equipment to capture microscopic construction dust.
• Window and glass cleaning — Removal of stickers, labels, paint overspray, and adhesive residue from all glass surfaces.
• Cabinet and fixture detailing — Interior and exterior cleaning of newly installed cabinets, removing sawdust and packaging residue.
• Floor preparation — Careful cleaning of new flooring materials according to manufacturer recommendations, whether hardwood, tile, LVP, or carpet.
• Paint touch-up areas — We identify and flag areas where paint touch-ups are needed so your contractor can address them before final inspection.

Working With Your Contractor

We coordinate directly with your general contractor or project manager to schedule our cleaning at the right point in the construction timeline. Cleaning too early means the work gets undone by remaining trades; cleaning too late delays your move-in. Our experience with Sacramento-area builders means we know how to time our work for maximum efficiency.
